My name is Meagan Catricala and I am an independently licensed social worker in Massachusetts and New York. I graduated in 2013 with my masters in Social Work from Salem State University. Over the past several years I have worked with various adult populations dealing with multiple issues including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, life transitions, and relationship issues.
After my children were born, I realized I wanted to specialize in perinatal mental health. I furthered my skills and completed continuing education trainings with Postpartum Support International (PSI) including the Perinatal Mood Disorders: Components of Care and The Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy Training.
I strive to make my clients feel comfortable by being nonjudgmental and building trust quickly. My focus is on your goals and identifying your strengths in order to help you navigate motherhood. I utilize solution focused therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques.
Overall I treat all of my clients with respect and my approach is client centered making sure to really listen to your story.
